I am a Hairstylist and Reiki Master, and have worked in San Diego, as well as, Charlotte, and have spent the last 20 years back here working in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, PA where I grew up.  

As a working mom of a grown daughter, and the oldest of 3 siblings with an elderly parent, I know how important it is to feel special, pampered and beautiful in a relaxing space. I have designed my studio suite experience in a way that will leave you feeling uplifted, relaxed, and more confident than you've ever felt before. 

I have been in the beauty industry for 40 years, and have never been more in love with my craft, my clients, or my life. I specialize in grey coverage and blending, beautiful dimensional blondes and brunettes, and gorgeous reds. I always attend classes both for the newest techniques and color formulations, as well as, ways to improve in running my own business.  Learning is a life long love for me!

While most salons and stylists offer solid services with maintenance care, I see my role as your stylist quite differently.  There is always a plan in line with your goals, and ways to deal with your specific needs and challenges. As we age and our bodies change, it is important that we adapt and pivot to keep our hair looking it's healthiest and best. 

If I'm not working in the salon, you can find me spending time with my Dad and helping him navigate life without my mother, or cooking something up in the kitchen.  I pride myself on being an above average cook, and have perfected my meatball recipe that makes my ancestors proud. We are always talking about food and exchanging recipes at The Contessa.
